Wow, are we going to have a white Christmas! It started snowing yesterday afternoon and didn't stop until about lunchtime today. It is so pretty, and when it was falling it looked like the big soap-bubble "flakes" that fall on Main Street USA during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Dad and I actually broke a yardstick trying to measure how deep the snow is down by the street where it's been piled up by the snowplow, but we were able to figure out that it's about three feet deep there. (That's the top of the yardstick sticking up out of the snow.) Actual snowfall seems to be about 9" total in non-drifted places. I got my new boots just in time!
On the subject of Christmas, tonight is our family Christmas dinner followed by Midnight Mass (another family tradition). Tomorrow will bring a large part of the Kesman clan over to our house for dinner, which is always a good time. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful family where everyone gets along and actually wants to spend Christmas together!
I hope all of you have exactly the kind of Christmas you're hoping for and that all your Christmas wishes come true! Merry Christmas!!
