SNOW!

Winter has come to Chicagoland, my friends! Last night we got enough snow for it to accumulate on my car (pictures to come, along with a note from the car, I'm certain, about how she didn't sign up for this!)...and this morning when I got on the train, it was snowing again! Despite the fact that snow = cold, I actually enjoy snow so this cheered me right up this morning despite my "I'm just not in the mood to go to work today" mood. The snow was falling again when I got home; it wasn't much, but it stuck to the driveway and the mulch. So fun!

You can remind me I said that in February when I am So Over Winter :)

I got a relayed chastising from a friend the other day about slacking off on the blogging again, so I wanted to put a little something up to fill the space. I've got a couple of posts stacking up that will be arriving soon; I write the old-fashioned way on the train from time to time and just need to transfer them here. I've also done irreparable damage to my laptop and thus am limited to my parents' computer (which I don't want to hog). Soon I'll decide whether my next line will be "Hi, I'm a Mac" or "Hi, I'm a PC"...and then I'll be online more often. (Input and opinions on that topic are most welcome!)

I leave for Orlando 8 days from tomorrow morning (not that I'm counting) and I couldn't be more excited. Five whole days! The good news? I can start packing whenever I want: it's not like I'll need the same clothes here as I will there :)
